Restoring dignity, hope, and community connection to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges in Rwanda.
Restoring Hope
Byuzuye Pivot Organization (BPO) is a non-profit, community-driven organization committed to supporting individuals living with mental health challenges and their families. Established in Rwanda, BPO was born out of a powerful story of pain, courage, and transformation.
For too long, mental health challenges have been misunderstood, feared, and stigmatized. Families have been isolated, and individuals forced to suffer in silence. BPO exists to change that narrative — to bring healing, hope, and inclusion where rejection and shame once existed.
Our programs focus on mental health awareness, community healing, rehabilitation, education, and family empowerment. We believe that every person, regardless of their mental health status, deserves love, respect, and opportunities to contribute to society.
A passionate movement united in restoring dignity and hope
We are a passionate team of mental health advocates, community leaders, and volunteers united by one mission — to end the stigma around mental health challenges and promote holistic well-being. Together, we create a compassionate space where everyone is heard and valued.
BPO was born from a personal story of rejection and resilience. Our founder, inspired by his family's experience of being misunderstood and isolated because of mental health challenges, decided to turn pain into purpose. Today, that vision has grown into a national movement that connects people through compassion, storytelling, and healing.
We believe that every individual has the right to be understood, supported, and valued. At BPO, we see mental health not as a weakness, but as a shared human experience that can bring communities closer together and transform lives.
